Role Overview
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Local is a community-based service that supports people to connect with care. As Service Support Officer, you create a safe and supportive environment for participants, carers, families, and team members, and aid the smooth operation of the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome participants, carers, families, and service partners in person and via phone, creating a calm and respectful space.
* Assist with day‐to‐day administration and coordination of service operations.
* Maintain an organised and well‐coordinated environment to help the team focus on person‐centred care.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant qualifications or comparable experience in an administration/data entry support role, ideally in a similar industry.
* Previous experience in a participant‐focused or customer‐facing role.
* Ability to provide a warm, welcoming, and empathic experience for participants.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
