Lead Alpine Dining Adventures Across Australia's Most Iconic Peaks
At Vail Resorts Australia, our Food & Beverage teams are at the heart of the mountain experience — from morning coffee to après‐ski celebrations. We're looking for dynamic Food & Beverage Venue Managers to lead one or more of our signature dining venues across Perisher and Hotham resorts. This is your opportunity to elevate guest experiences, develop high‐performing teams, and deliver exceptional hospitality in some of the country's most spectacular alpine environments.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading day‐to‐day operations of a high‐volume dining venue, ensuring exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.
* Coaching and developing a diverse seasonal team, creating a culture of enthusiasm, safety and inclusion.
* Maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation and cleanliness, aligned with the Food Safety Program and Liquor Regulations.
* Managing labour, stock and budget performance to support overall resort results.
* Driving operational readiness for winter and ensuring seamless service during peak periods.
* Partnering closely with culinary teams, supervisors and resort leaders to deliver consistent, efficient, high‐quality operations.
* Supporting service recovery efforts and championing a guest‐first culture.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience in Food & Beverage leadership, ideally in high‐volume or multi‐venue operations.
* A passion for hospitality and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Strong organisational skills and a calm, solutions‐focused approach under pressure.
* Experience with purchasing, stock control and administration.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility, resilience and a hands‐on leadership style.
* Previous alpine or ski industry experience is a bonus — but enthusiasm for the mountain lifestyle is essential.
