The Learning Nook Early Education & Child Care is seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team in a full‐time, permanent role. This position supports high‐quality education and care for children aged 0–5 years in a warm, family‐centred environment.
About the Role
* Supervising and caring for children during routines, play, and learning experiences
* Supporting children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
* Assisting in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning programs aligned with the EYLF
* Observing, documenting, and reporting on children's progress
* Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment
* Supporting behaviour guidance and positive interactions
* Communicating with families and working collaboratively with the team
* Assisting with daily routines, including meals, rest, transitions, and hygiene practices
Skills & Experience Required
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA‐assessed equivalent)
* Experience in early childhood education
* Solid understanding of EYLF, NQS, and child‐secure practices
* Current Working With Children Check – QLD Blue Card
* Current QLD Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training Certificates
* First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
* Warm, reliable, and committed to high‐quality practice
* Preferred: Diploma, 1-year early learning experience, first aid and CPR certificate

Pay: $76,515.00 – $80,000.00 per year
