Test Automation Lead (Playwright & Rest Assured)

Location: Melbourne
Job Description: Candidate should have lead experience with Rest Assured and be very strong in Playwright. Candidate should be able to join as soon as possible with a maximum of 2 weeks notice.
Responsibilities
* Implement fixtures, parallelization, custom reporters, tracing, and debugging tools.
* Set best practices for locators, auto-waiting, and eliminating flaky tests.
* Integrate Playwright into CI/CD pipelines and optimize test execution speed.
* Mentor engineers on Playwright usage and review Playwright test code.
Requirements
* Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright (3+ years preferred).
* Ability to design clean, maintainable Playwright test architecture.
