Reception Teacher - Epping Forest, Essex
We are a 2‐form entry primary school in Epping Forest, Essex, looking for an experienced EYFS / Reception teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join us in September 2026.
This is a full‐time, permanent contract role. You will be paid to scale M1‐UPS3 and will have a long‐term contract until July 2026, followed by a permanent position thereafter.
The school offers a well‐resourced EYFS department, supportive senior leadership, a good OFSTED rating, excellent CPD opportunities and good transport links.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an engaging and rich reception curriculum, fostering pupils' passion for learning.
Collaborate with experienced EYFS teaching assistants and senior leadership to support student development.
Ideal Candidate
* Excellent experience and knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* Passion for EYFS and a creative, fun teaching style.
* Experience teaching Reception (or Nursery and KS1) is desirable.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas.
* Team player with strong communication skills.
* At least 1 year of experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
