About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple landscape construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Landscape Manager, you will play a key role in contract administration, project delivery, and team leadership.
Project Delivery & Performance
* Lead and manage projects across all phases – from planning to completion
* Ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and profitability targets
* Develop construction programs, budgets, and cash flow forecastsManage labour, plant, and materials allocation across projects
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Contract Administration
* Administer contracts, variations, and extensions of time (EOTs)
* Prepare progress claims, reports, and final contract documentation
* Review and approve subcontractor and supplier claims
* Prepare subcontract documentation and manage subcontractor performance
* Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
Safety, Quality & Environment
* Implement BluScape's WHS, Quality, and Environmental systems
* Promote and enforce safe work practices and environmental awareness
* Develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), quality plans, and environmental management plans
* Conduct site audits, toolbox talks, and monitor compliance
* Investigate and resolve non-conformances
Leadership & Development
* Mentor and develop junior team members
* Support recruitment, performance reviews, and team development
* Foster a positive and collaborative team culture aligned with BluScape values
About You
You are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for landscape construction and project excellence.
You will bring:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or landscaping
* Strong understanding of contract administration and project financials
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Knowledge of WHS, environmental, and quality systems
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management
