* Salary: Admin Grade 6, 1 FTE range of $135,000-$160,000 (to be pro-rated to 0.4 FTE for this role) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be part of a high-performing and collaborative Legal Services team, reporting to the Director, Legal Services. You will work closely with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, researchers, clinicians and senior leaders to provide expert legal advice across research, governance, innovation and commercialisation activities, clinical research agreements, privacy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice on research governance, innovation and commercialisation activities.
* Advise on intellectual property, licensing and collaboration agreements.
* Provide legal support for partnerships with industry, universities and research institutions.
* Review and advise on policies, procedures and regulatory compliance matters.
Qualifications
* Admitted to legal practice in Victoria with a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience.
* Experience advising on research governance, commercialisation, privacy or regulatory compliance matters.
* Strong drafting, negotiating and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative working style.
