Role Summary:

* Location: St Albans CCU, Burnside PARC and Women's PARC
* Employment type: Ongoing, Part Time (32 hours/fortnight)
* Salary: RPN Grade 4/SW Grade 3/OT Grade 3/Psychologist Grade 3 (multi-disciplinary role, relevant to multiple agreements and classifications) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

About the role:

We are seeking clinicians with a strong interest in integrated mental health and AOD care to join our multidisciplinary residential services team across CCU, PARC and Women's PARC. In this role, you will support consumers from diverse multicultural backgrounds experiencing a broad range of psychiatric presentations and co‐occurring substance use challenges.

Working collaboratively with internal and external service providers, you will deliver integrated AOD treatment and interventions alongside clinical treating teams, contributing to consistent, evidence-based and recovery-focused care across Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge of AOD practice to inform clinical recommendations, strengthen multidisciplinary care planning and improve outcomes for consumers across residential mental health services.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide primary consultation of consumers with co‐occurring substance use.
* Provide expert opinion regarding diagnostic impressions, formal diagnostic assessments, feedback on process considerations and treatment planning considerations/advice.
* Provision of advice and mentoring to clinicians about the drug and alcohol treatments and services, particularly during clinical review meetings.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, families/carers, colleagues and other service providers.
* Commitment to ongoing professional self‐development.
* Well‐developed skills in writing and an ability to promptly prepare case assessments, individual service plans, discharge summaries and other forms of documentation.
