Senior Consultant – Tax Technology and Transformation
Based in Warrang – Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing a service to some of the world's largest corporations in response to the impact of existing and emerging technology, including the growing data burden that many businesses face.
* Empower clients to thrive in the digital era, keeping ahead of the curve with the latest tax compliance updates and innovative audit approaches.
* Hands‐on work with innovative tax technology projects, such as:
o Launching Intelligent Automation solutions that revolutionise how tax functions run day‐to‐day.
o Collaborating on large‐scale enterprise tax technology rollouts using cutting‐edge ERP and EPM platforms like Tagetik, SAP PaPM, Anaplan, Oracle TRCS, and OneStream.
o Delivering robust tax governance solutions, often with Microsoft SharePoint.
o Powering tax analytics and reporting with advanced enhancements.
o Driving transformation of tax operating models.
o Exploring Tax Generative AI use cases.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* A bachelor's degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
* 3 years' experience in a Tax and / or Tax Technology role or similar consulting or corporate environment.
* Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technological concepts clearly to clients.
* Proficiency in ERP, EPM and business systems such as S4HANA, Oracle, D365, Workday, invoicing platforms, CRM, and financial data modules.
* Proficiency in business analysis, AI, data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau, automation platforms like Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and programming languages including JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
* Knowledge or experience with cloud data warehouse/lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Databricks.
* Strong problem‐solving aptitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Track record as a collaborative team member, effectively engaging diverse colleagues to accomplish common goals.
