About the company:
Eastern suburbs based manufacturer specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication providing sheet metal solutions from concept to completion. We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team, who can work on a number of different and varied metal products servicing all industries.
Key responsibilities:
* Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
* Welding to standards AS1554/AS1665
* Welding both fillet and butt welds
* Assembly/cutting/drilling/welding and utilizing jig set up when needed
* Train and educate other operators on welding techniques when needed
Requirements
Key requirements:
* Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication trade or equivalent( Sheetmetal/Boilermaker qualification highly regarded)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Ability to set and use various welding machines(MIG/TIG,etc)
* Knowledge of welding standards
* Good shop floor communication skills
