Senior Electrical Engineer (Relocate to Tasmania)

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at SAGE, you will be responsible and accountable for leading a small team to successfully and competently deliver complex engineering solutions for projects within requirements, schedule, and budget in your area(s) of expertise. Using your experience and technical knowledge, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of professional engineering services in multiple areas of engineering competency across concurrent projects.
In this role:
* You will be confident in liaising directly with clients in developing and refining scopes of work as needed.
* You will provide mentoring and leadership to your team. Based on the role, this may also include leading other extended teams to achieve non-technical project outcomes. This includes taking accountability for the team's performance in achieving schedule, quality, and budget targets.
* Furthermore, you will be accountable to the Principal Engineer and/or Project Manager for the preparation and production of electrical designs to meet project requirements, specifications, budgets, and timeframes.
About you:
* Ideally based in Launceston with unrestricted Australian Work Rights.
* Electrical Engineering degree qualification with five plus years of proven experience within automation, Defence, energy, utilities or manufacturing sectors.
* Eligible for state-based engineering registration in Electrical Engineering.
* Verifiable knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
