As Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping insurance products that support the financial wellbeing of millions of Australians through superannuation and corporate partners. Sitting within our Group Life business, this role ensures our products are competitive, compliant, and genuinely valuable for members and partners.
Responsibilities
* Leading the design, development, and ongoing management of insurance products across assigned partners.
* Owning product roadmaps, reviews, and enhancements to deliver strong customer and partner outcomes.
* Supporting go‐to‐market activity including tenders, quotes, sales, and retention initiatives.
* Using market research and competitor insights to inform product and pricing decisions.
* Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver agreed strategies.
* Ensuring products always meet regulatory requirements and quality standards; and that any required changes are implemented in a timely manner, with the relevant controls and monitoring.
* Managing your own pipeline of work for assigned clients and providing additional product support to team members as needed.
* Supporting other initiatives or projects across the Group Insurance team, or Product team as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in product management within life or group insurance.
* Strong understanding of the Australian life insurance market and superannuation environment.
* Experience delivering customer‐centric product innovation and improvement.
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
* Pro‐active, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to agreed timelines.
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant professional experience.
* Ability to travel interstate for key external market engagement activities if required.
* An open mindset with a positive and optimistic attitude.
* Willingness to learn, be curious and take on challenges.
