Salary -$99,938 pa - $110, 270 pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 5/6)

Your role
As a Services and Programs Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of intervention programs and services to reduce reoffending, change behaviour, and support the wellbeing of people under Court ordered community supervision. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within our Community Corrections offices and build internal and external stakeholder relationships.
What you'll do
As part of the Community Corrections team, you will provide group-based accredited and approved programs to offenders within a community location. You will also support case plan goals with connection to relevant services and supports in the community and manage key internal and external relationships such as with offender's families and non-government organisations.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a mandatory four-week, in-person, paid training program at our Brush Farm Academy, which is a key component of the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice curriculum.
What we're looking for
Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of offenders within challenging community settings.
Demonstrated ability to oversee crucial internal and external connections, including those with offenders' families and non-government organisations.
Contribute to induction, assessment, fundamental support, and case management processes and reporting.
Provide group-based accredited or approved programs to offenders on supervised orders in the community.
Resolve critical or crisis situations by providing information, expertise, support, and referral.
Maintain succinct documentation and case notes on all offenders receiving services.
Assist offenders with pre-release planning including referrals to community-based agencies where required.
