Theatre Orderly role at Ramsay Health Care – John Flynn Private Hospital Theatre department is a busy, supportive environment seeking an experienced and adaptive Theatre Orderly to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Transporting patients between areas of the Perioperative department.
- Assisting in the day-to-day functioning of the Operating Suite including preparation of theatre for surgery, patient transfer and positioning, equipment management.
- Cleaning of theatres and waste management within the department.
Key Skills And Experience
- Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent is essential
- Technician experience within an operating theatre is essential
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently when required
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7 day rotating roster

The Hospital
John Flynn Private Hospital is a 354 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, on the southern end of the Gold Coast, within 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport.
The hospital provides services to the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast regions, extending into the NSW Northern Rivers area.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
