Central to the role is leading a multi-disciplined curriculum team including history, geography, business, tourism, legal studies and VET.

About the Role As a Head of Department, the successful applicant will have a responsibility as a Pride Leader for selected students in Blackburn House.
This responsibility involves tracking, monitoring and actioning engagement data (attendance and behaviour) and supporting the wellbeing of students in two Pride Classes through our vertical house structure.
Responsibilities Lead curriculum, teaching and learning of the faculty to deliver quality learning outcomes for all students Track and monitor student academic progress in all year levels Set high standards for student and staff performance Ensure compliance of College processes with the regulatory framework and VET standards (QCAA and ASQA), including building staff capability in this area Monitor and track the completion and attainment of student VET studies Have a strong understanding of VET (or can demonstrate ability / capacity to develop in this space) Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development of self and others Form partnerships with students, parents, external providers and the wider college community How to Apply Please submit a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant previous work history) A 2-page response to the How you will be Assessed section of the attached role description We welcome all applicants to share any support needed to ensure our recruitment process is inclusive.
