About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the position of Deputy Principal (Special Education).

As Deputy Principal, you will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing strategies to improve educational outcomes for students with disability.
* Leading the Special Education Program to improve educational outcomes for students with disability.
* Supporting the Principal in delivering the school's educational vision and deputising when required.
* Embedding socially just practices and fostering a culture of inclusion and high expectations.
* Building and sustaining positive partnerships with parents, agencies, and community stakeholders.
* Leading curriculum, teaching, and learning innovations that promote quality outcomes for all students.
* Managing the human, financial, and physical resources of the SEP to achieve organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing strategies to improve educational outcomes for students with disability.
2. Providing guidance and support to teachers and staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the needs of students with disability.
3. Collaborating with other leaders and departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the educational needs of students with disability.
4. Managing the budget and resources of the SEP to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
5. Representing the school at local and regional levels to advocate for the needs of students with disability.
