THE ROLE
As a Town Planner, you will play an integral role in supporting clients by preparing planning advice, development applications, and reports, as well as attending meetings and consultation sessions. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities to achieve project outcomes while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.

DUTIES
* Prepare, coordinate, and manage Development Applications and planning advice
* Draft planning reports, policy submissions, and responses to authority information requests
* Attend and contribute to consultation sessions, client meetings, and site visits
* Provide recommendations on planning matters and support resolution of issues in a team environment
* Prepare quotes and reports under the guidance of senior staff
* Maintain relationships with valued clients and stakeholders
* Monitor relevant legislation to ensure compliance across all projects
ABOUT YOU
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a town planning or related field
* Strong knowledge of development assessment and environmental planning legislation
* Degree in town planning or currently studying
* Technical understanding of statutory controls and relevant Acts
* Experience liaising with clients and community representatives in a professional manner
* Strong written communication and reporting skills
* Competency in MS Office and information management systems
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
* Commitment to best practice WHS and EEO standards
