The Opportunity
Due to continuous growth and expansion, we are seeking experienced MC Linehaul drivers based in Bunbury. You will play a vital role in collecting waste oil from various locations across West Australia including the Pilbara, Mid-west, Southwest, Goldfields and Great Southern.
These roles are for experienced Linehaul drivers and will spend 4-5 days a week on the road.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform pre-start checks and report maintenance faults and defects.
* Make weekly trips throughout WA with 4 to 5 days a week on the road.
* Complete documentation such as controlled waste tracking forms, waste collection receipts, delivery dockets and consignment notes.
* Collect waste products from customers.
* Maintain a fatigue logbook with trip details, including required fatigue breaks to ensure full compliance with Commercial Driver Fatigue regulations.
* Unload the truck of collected waste products.
* Perform physically demanding tasks such as handling pump hoses, equipment and accessing the top of tanks via fixed ladder.
Who are we looking for?
* Valid MC Driver's License with line haul experience.
* Proven truck driving experience on public roads, within towns and cities.
* Highly motivated and focused.
* Organised and detail-oriented in daily work practices.
* Demonstrated initiative, judgement and problem-solving skills.
* Professional and well-presented with strong communication skills.
* Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment health check, including drug and alcohol testing.
* Pump truck experience (an advantage).
* Controlled Waste (an advantage).
