About the ProjectTe Pae o Tararua – taki to North of Levin (2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, while increasing transport choices for a growing population. The project is being delivered in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muapoko Tribal Authority, local hap of Ngti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and Horowhenua District Council.
About the Role
We're seeking a Specialist Operator for deep soil mixing and bored piles.
Responsibilities
* Operate automated grout batching plants and grout pumps.
* Mechanical skills to assemble and disassemble plant and equipment and repairs when required.
* Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the site vehicles, equipment, and tools.
* Follow quality, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
* Participate in daily pre-starts and weekly toolbox meetings.
* Report mechanical or electrical faults to supervisors.
About You
* Current driver's license and WTR endorsements (required)
* Must have experience operating machinery on civil infrastructure projects
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety
* Reliable, motivated, and able to work well within a high-performing team
* Able to meet project deadlines and contribute to a positive site culture
