Overview
Business Consultant with strong domain expertise in border management systems, responsible for functional consulting, requirement analysis, and supporting solution design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and document business requirements and contribute to solution design documents
* Translate requirements into user stories and manage backlog in ADO
* Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams
* Perform estimation using industry-standard techniques (e.g., Function Point)
* Support schema design and interface documentation (ICD)
* Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release documentation
* Conduct functional test case reviews and ensure alignment with business needs
* Provide functional support to development and QA teams
* Analyse risks and ensure delivery alignment
Skills & Experience
* 10+ years of BA experience with strong domain knowledge
* Experience with PNR, DCS, APP, APIS messaging formats
* Strong understanding of border/security domain and risk rules
* Hands-on with Azure DevOps (ADO)
* Knowledge of XML and interface design
* Experience in Agile delivery environments
Skill Required: Domain should be Borders and Travels (travel and airlines)
Duration: Permanent position
Eligibility: Australian Citizens as Baseline clearance is mandatory
