Join a well-established national construction company as a Senior Estimator in their Brisbane office. This standalone position offers the unique combination of autonomy and comprehensive support, with access to estimating and preconstruction teams across multiple offices nationwide.
About the Role
* Location: Brisbane, Queensland
* Package: $150,000 - $200,000
* Structure: Standalone position with dedicated cadet support
* Project Mix: Diverse portfolio maintaining 50/50 split between new build and refurbishment/fit-out projects
What You'll Do
* Lead estimating activities across mixed project types including new builds and refurbishment/fit-out projects
* Prepare comprehensive estimates for public tender opportunities
* Collaborate with national estimating and preconstruction teams
* Mentor and develop cadet estimator
* Utilize industry-leading software platforms for accurate project costing
Technical Requirements
Essential Software Experience:
* Cubit (Buildsoft) for estimating
* Procore for document management
* Estimate One for public tender processes
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience across diverse project types (new build and refurbishment preferred)
* Strong background in public tender estimation
* Proficiency with specified software platforms
* Ability to work independently while leveraging team collaboration
* Leadership capabilities to support cadet development
