The Ovens Murray Family Violence Partnership (OMFVP) is seeking an Independent Chair to provide strategic leadership and support the effective functioning of the regional Family Violence Regional Integration Committee.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to coordinated, cross-sector responses to family violence and support the local delivery of statewide reform initiatives. Working closely with the Principal Strategic Advisor, you will foster collaboration, shared accountability and innovation across the Partnership. In this role you will:
• Provide strategic leadership aligned with the OMFVP Strategic Plan and priorities
• Chair Strategic Executive meetings and guide key decision-making processes
• Foster collaborative, integrated responses across sectors and services
• Represent the collective views of the Partnership at regional and statewide forums
• Support system improvement, policy influence and service integration
• Provide guidance and oversight to the Principal Strategic Advisor
• Promote shared leadership, accountability and strong governance
The OMFVP brings together community, health and government partners to strengthen the family violence service system, improve outcomes and ensure regional perspectives inform statewide reform.
OMFVP is auspiced by Centre Against Violence (CAV), a not-for-profit organisation delivering family violence and sexual assault support services across the Ovens Murray region.
