Description
Reporting to the Operations or Technical Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating maintenance planning, repairs, servicing, and compliance activities across operational assets and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. You will be responsible for scheduling maintenance works, coordinating contractors and resources, maintaining technical records, and supporting ongoing operational reliability and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinating planned and breakdown maintenance activities
* Scheduling contractors, tooling, equipment, and maintenance resources
* Maintaining maintenance schedules and technical documentation
* Supporting compliance with operational and safety standards
* Coordinating major maintenance works and out‐of‐service periods
* Monitoring asset reliability and operational availability
* Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
* Supporting inventory and parts coordination for maintenance activities
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting systems
* Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and operational processes
* Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently
* Supporting compliance with relevant marine, safety, and operational requirements

Profile
The successful candidate will be a proactive and organised maintenance or technical coordination professional with strong communication skills and previous experience working within a fast‐paced operational environment. You will thrive in a hands‐on coordination role and have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
You will bring
* Previous experience in maintenance coordination, technical support, or maintenance planning
* Exposure to marine, transport, industrial, or heavy operational environments
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills
* High attention to detail and problem‐solving capability
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as AMOS, MEX, MPM, or similar
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Understanding of maintenance scheduling and operational planning processes
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
* Relevant Trade Qualification, Diploma, or Degree highly regarded
* Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
