Job Responsibilities
* Leading end-to-end internal audit/assurance engagements from planning through to reporting and managing client relationships and team delivery
* Preparing risk assessments to define engagement plans and testing programs
* Engaging in planning workshops to define scope, objectives, and due dates
* Conducting fieldwork including control testing, document review, process analysis, and data analysis to identify issues and improvement opportunities
* Preparing high-quality reports and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders
* Independently reviewing internal systems, processes, and understanding the risks and controls, including identifying control deficiencies or gaps
* Contributing to practice operations including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, fees, and budgets
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or similar
* CA/CPA/CIA qualification (or working towards it) preferred
* Three years' experience in a similar role
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with strong report-writing ability
* Motivated, collaborative, and excited by the opportunity to grow a new practice
