Project Manager – DDG Combat System Support (Garden Island NSW)

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct planning & coordination of DDG Combat System support requirements & resources to meet the support objectives.
* Progress and status reporting to meet DDGSPO customer and Raytheon requirements.
* Coordinate program Survey & Quote (S&Q) Task activities in response to customer requests.
* Manage risk, budget development, schedule, and program reporting (Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) in accordance with Raytheon approved processes).
* Establish support requirements with support agencies (internal Raytheon Australia and external vendors).
* Manage and coordinate external resources (vendors and support agencies).
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Well organized professional with attention to detail; process driven mindset to execute projects under a thorough project management framework.
* Customer focused with ability to interact with a complex stakeholder environment.
* Diplomatic problem‐solving approach.
* Strong leadership skills, ability to establish working relationships and build customer rapport to influence stakeholders for best program outcomes.
* Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Electrical, Electronic Engineering (or equivalent discipline), Business or Project Management, or relevant experience.
* Around five (5) years relevant experience in a similar role to allow career growth within Raytheon.
* Practical knowledge of leading and managing execution of processes, projects and tactics within a job area.
* Experience in maintenance management of complex military systems.
* Prior experience at a management / team lead level within an Integrated Team project environment.
* Experience with Earn Value Management is beneficial.
* Must have an active Negative Vetting Level 1 or higher (http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva).
