Designs focus on constructability, safety and sustainability. You work with civil, structural and primary specialists across diverse scopes. **About the Opportunity** You produce HV transmission line designs that meet specifications and support safe, sustainable outcomes. You prepare drawings, reports and documentation, apply Safety in Design, use modelling tools and help resolve design issues. You collaborate across teams and contribute to design verification and improvement. **What are the key accountabilities for the position?*** Develop HV transmission line designs* Use modelling tools to optimise performance* Prepare drawings, reports and specifications* Apply Safety in Design requirements* Coordinate design inputs across disciplines* Resolve design issues and support improvements**Required Skills and Competencies*** Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering* Chartered Status (including RPEV, RPEQ, NER & CPEng), or the ability to achieve within 6 months of commencing, is desirable* Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor or TNSP experience highly regarded.* 4+ years' senior experience in transmission line design (220kV+)* Advanced PLS-CADD skills (preferably to 500kV); working knowledge of PLS-Tower.* Understanding of HV transmission, substations, and applicable standards.* Skilled in preparing clear, accurate reports, drawings, schedules, and specifications.*ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
