Associate/Engagement Manager – Performance Transformation

What you will do

* Provide day‐to‐day leadership of client projects, manage client relationships and commercial processes, and collaborate with Partners to ensure engagement success.
* Lead and manage complex programs to deliver on‐time, high‐quality results, leveraging Oliver Wyman best practices and technical competence.
* Guide and influence clients, becoming trusted advisors in all situations, including the execution of the commercial process.
* Engage in business development by identifying new and expanded opportunities.
* Create intellectual capital through thought leadership and maintain knowledge across a broad range of adjacent topics.
* Develop others and build followership, contributing to the firm's asset building.
* Lead firm‐building activities, modeling firm values and cultivating a strong personal brand within and outside the firm.
* Oversee and guide the joint team in hypothesis development, stakeholder engagement, analytics, insight synthesis, and deliverable creation.
* Support Partners in project execution with excellent project management, including work planning, workflow management, and coaching junior team members.

Desired skills and experience

* +4 years of experience in strategy and management consulting, business transformation design and delivery, with a strong proportion in consulting or professional services at a top‐tier firm.
* Experience in the Energy & Resources industry, particularly Mining & Metals, or Power, Utilities & Renewables.
* Strong business and commercial acumen, exceptional problem‐solving skills, and the ability to exercise mature judgement and deliver results.
* Ability to structure ambiguity and communicate ideas, strategies and recommendations clearly.
* Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and management of small teams, promoting effective and efficient work environments.
* Solid project management skills, balancing competing priorities while ensuring quality outcomes.
* Excellent verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills.
* Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
* Impeccable judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
* Willingness to travel from time to time, including internationally.

Hybrid Work Commitment
