About the role
The Senior Analyst forms part of the State Team, providing valuable prudential and client relationship support to Account Managers (Rural and Area Managers) to enable the development of new business and the management of existing client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as an additional formal point of contact for client and client advisors throughout the journey from client request to settlement.
* Initiate and oversee all branch prudential management tasks, including comprehensive CDD risk analysis in AML/CTF, KYC requirements and other operational tasks.
* Mentor and coach other team members.
* Actively support Account Managers in responding to new and existing National Credit Code (NCC) clients across all states.
* Prepare complex loan applications independently or as part of a deal team.
* Execute branch prudential management tasks and conduct complex CDD risk analyses.
* Liaise with relevant parties to ensure prompt and accurate documentation and settlements.
* Advocate best practice within the region and support Branch & Rural Account Managers.
* Utilise workflow tools and processes to provide clear oversight of workload and capacity.
* Collaborate with Account Managers on client reviews in line with Bank policy and procedure.
* Monitor loan arrears and NCC accounts in excess, liaising with Rural Manager(s) and taking appropriate action.
* Work collaboratively with Area Manager, Account Managers, Credit Analyst team and Risk & Compliance Manager to foster continuous improvement within Country Banking.
* Act as a mentor to Analysts and Associate Analysts within the Region.
* Ensure compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures including Audit, Credit, Compliance and Business Continuity.
* Attend farm visits with Account Manager in negotiation with the Branch Managers & Rural Managers when required.
* Undertake administrative work, respond to telephone and branch enquiries and general liaison with clients, service providers, branches and other stakeholders.
* Meet individual targets for existing/new Rabobank rural clients, developing client relationships.
* Manage and resolve customer complaints and disputes in a timely manner.
* Comply with training requirements on regulated lending and other areas as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role or within banking, finance, or agriculture.
* Ability to interpret and execute branch prudential management tasks and other operational tasks.
* Strong understanding of risk analysis in AML/CTF and KYC requirements.
* Strong understanding of sophisticated and complex client structures.
* Experience working within a customer service environment.
* High level of written and verbal communication.
* Highly proactive, adaptable, and flexible approach to work.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external clients.
* Capacity to work within timeframes and manage client expectations.
* Highly developed planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
