An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, proactive, and outcomes focused Human Resources Advisor to join the HR Operations team at Queensland Metals. Working closely with operational leaders and employees, you will deliver high quality HR support while contributing to broader organisational objectives in a complex operational environment.
This role is residentially based in Mount Isa and a ******* roster. We encourage suitably qualified and experienced local candidates to apply. For those located outside Mount Isa, relocation support is available for this position to enable you and your family to live and work here.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice and support across employee relations, performance management, and legislative compliance
* Assist with performance improvement plans and attendance management processes
* Support workforce planning, roster planning, and establishment management activitiesContribute to recruitment support and organisational capability initiatives
* Support remuneration, perks, payroll processing, and injury management activities
* Assist with the delivery and implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support operational teams to deliver key business objectives through effective people practices
* Partner with leaders to make data driven decisions
Skills And Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
* 3–5 years' HR experience, ideally within the resources or heavy industry sector
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective relationships with stakeholders
* Confidence acting as a trusted HR resource at all levels of the organisation
