National Lifestyle Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced and passionate National Lifestyle Coordinator to lead and support the delivery of person-centred leisure, lifestyle, and Higher Everyday Living (HEL) services across all Aeralife homes.
In this leadership role, you will ensure lifestyle programs associated with HELF are exciting and entertaining to promote resident participation. Oversees and make recommendations to ensure lifestyle programs reflect evidence-based contemporary practice and empower consumers to achieve their personal goals, wellbeing outcomes, and quality of life. You will work collaboratively with operational leaders, Lifestyle Coordinators, aspirations residents, families, volunteers, and community partners to deliver engaging, purposeful, and compliant programs across the Aeralife Homes.

What you will be responsible for
As the National Lifestyle Coordinator, you will oversee and support the implementation of innovative and meaningful lifestyle and HEL programs that promote choice, independence, social connection, and engagement for residents.
You will provide leadership, mentoring, and operational guidance to Lifestyle Coordinators across all sites while ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Higher Everyday Living legislation, and Aeralife policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the General Manager Client Services to oversee scheduling and delivery of Higher Everyday Living (HEL) activities
* Ensure lifestyle and HEL programs align with contemporary evidence-based practice
* Encourage and support enhancement of lifestyle programs to ensure they are purposeful, engaging, and provide residents with meaningful choice
* Oversee MSU programs and guide Lifestyle Coordinators to deliver engaging and purposeful activities
* Participate in operational and professional meetings, planning days, and cross-service activities
* Ensure all volunteers are fully compliant with orientation requirements, police checks, and statutory declarations
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and associated outcomes
* Ensure compliance with Higher Everyday Living legislation and requirements
* Ensure lifestyle programs and individual care plans are evaluated in accordance with Aeralife policies
* Attend all mandatory training as required by Aeralife
* Support and monitor completion of Lifestyle KPI reports in consultation with Residence Managers
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Lifestyle Coordinators across all homes
What you bring to the role
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
* Minimum 10 years' experience in Aged Care, preferably within a residential setting
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Evidence of valid Australian working rights
* Contemporary knowledge and skills in current aged care practices
* Understanding of the cognitive, social, spiritual, and cultural needs of consumers
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and expected outcomes
* Sound knowledge of Higher Everyday Living legislation
* Experience leading and mentoring teams
* Experience delivering and auditing Additional / Higher Everyday Living services
* Dementia and/or Aged Persons Mental Health qualifications or knowledge
* Palliative care qualifications, skills, or knowledge
