Exciting new specialised process sales team "Group Business Development & Sales Management Role" starting in 2026 is offered in a time of exceptional growth within our Australasian group. The skills you will be able to bring to this new role will come from your direct experience working in key process engineering sectors across Australasia. Our focus both short and long term, from our Melbourne office, and Technical Business Development Hub, and in the field in front of key accounts, is working with the existing customer care team to establish and grow our sales & brands. Pivotal to this is the right person to represent our product and brand to key blue‑chip process companies in mining, industry, energy, defence, food‑beverage and more.

This new role will require a person with drive and vision, with excellent B2B process customer relations and sales management skills. An energetic and organised individual, not afraid of trying new skills, new directions and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done! YOU MUST be able to lead a sales team by example i.e. running your own key accounts, as well as utilising our sales tools CRM & sales reporting, while working closely with senior sales management and marketing to achieve measurable growth.

You must be comfortable at all levels of selling and presentation from boardroom to factory floor toolbox meetings. If you are a talented B2B business developer with a proven sale growth history, as well as the senior planning skills to run sales teams and campaigns, and you are a outstanding communicator who can easily create rapport with customers old and new, find, nurture and close deals, all while giving exceptional customer service and having a vision for the future, then we have the position delivering growth and autonomy. This role is best described as a "hands‑on senior management BDM role".

Critical in this important role will be your ability to show proven B2B engineering/process or industrial sector senior sales management and how these skills can relate to our products and their market applications. Working with your sales‑marketing teams on sales growth, and directly with our key accounts from within the office and on regular call cycles to your larger accounts/distributors and, of course, prospective customers and potential end users, is a larger part of this role to drive growth. Exceptional drive and communication skills (verbal and written), computer presentations and ability to craft arguments and business cases, with proficiency in Microsoft sales suites. This position is for those with forward thinking, invested in the long term and expecting reward and commitment in return, who have drive and a sense of responsibility.

Managing a sales team to meet KPI targets is critical, as is working within a sales marketing environment as a senior sales executive. This role is dependent upon experience in Australasian process industries, proven sales methodology and B2B sales experience and preferably having worked with or coordinated sales teams. This role involves growing sales and market presence, building existing customers and markets. You will be working with and assisting the sales‑marketing team, will travel to key clients/distributors on a regular call rotation and, as required, report in person to Australasian group sales management each quarter at a minimum.

This role is perfect for both B2B sales managers and senior sales BD, with a minimum 5 to 10 years B2B sales development experience in Australasian engineering‑process industries that is currently operating in or looking for a more senior group level and hands‑on business development role. You must have full work rights in Australia, with proven relevant senior sales & business development experience.
