Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery of a landmark $100M modular hotel development in Port Hedland. This high-profile project involves a 7-storey, 302-room modular construction build, requiring strong leadership, technical capability, and proven experience managing complex, large-scale construction projects. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilisation through to completion.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and modular installation teams.
* Drive programme delivery, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
* Maintain strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
* Oversee quality assurance and ensure works meet design specifications.
* Manage site logistics, including cranage and installation sequencing of modular components.
* Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.
* Deliver accurate reporting on progress, risks, and cost impacts.
* Foster a strong safety and performance culture across the site team.
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale commercial projects ($80M+).
* Demonstrated experience delivering multi-storey modular or prefabricated construction projects (highly desirable).
* Strong understanding of high-rise construction methodologies.
* Previous project experience in the Pilbara or remote WA locations (highly advantageous).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage complex logistics and programme sequencing.
* Sound knowledge of Australian building standards, safety, and compliance requirements.
* Trade or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar.
