Job Role
Provide empathetic, kind and comprehensive disability in home support to NDIS participants. You will be required to assist with a wide range of personal daily activities, such as:
* Showering, dressing
* General Housekeeping
* Sleepover shifts with active hours
* Community access and participation
* Reorientation and redirection
The must haves...
* Emotionally aware, resilient and responsive to the needs of the person
* Sensitive and adaptable attitude
* Genuine and reliable withrespect for the client's individual choices.
* Respect the client's privacy and maintain strict client confidentiality
* Current unrestricted drivers licence.
* Be capable in a physically demanding role; lifting, bending, carrying, crouching etc
The non-negotiables...
In the interest of our clients, company, and your safety you must have:
* First Aid/ CPR
* Own reliable transport
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Criminal History Screening Prior to engagement
* Current Hep A, B and Flu Vaccination
* Current Drivers Licence
* Reliable Vehicle with Comprehensive insurance
* Completion of our induction and mandatory training modules prior to start
Desired...
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent experience
