Our client, one of Australia's leading Hospitality Groups has experienced rapid expansion in recent years and is now looking to recruit a key Assistant Restaurant Manager for one of its Melbourne venues, specifically focusing on managing the growth and culture of the restaurant.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, as the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be managing all aspects of a multi-million dollar venue from front of house to back of house. You will have the ability to manage and develop staff across the business and have the foresight to implement appropriate policy and procedural changes to grow the business and improve the overall customer and staff experience.
To be successful in this role you will have been engaged in a similar position in a progressive environment, you will have a proven background as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, managing staff of plus 5 as well as having some profit and loss responsibility. Preferably you will also be used to working in a hatted environment and know what it takes to sustain a restaurant at a hatted level. You will also display a high level of commercial acumen, a passion for hospitality and possess the ability to develop relationships across all levels of the business coupled with the ability to manage and train staff to the highest standards.
