Role Overview
As a Custodial Correctional Officer, you will ensure community safety while helping offenders rebuild their lives. Your responsibilities include securing offenders, guiding them toward rehabilitation, and supporting their successful reintegration into society.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting education, vocational training, and employment programs.
* Assisting with cultural engagement initiatives.
* Managing prisoner inductions and accommodation units.
* Conducting perimeter security and external escorts.
* Writing reports for case management.
* Engaging in specialist career development paths available within the service.

* Competitive Salary: $2,936.50 – $4,547.33 per fortnight ($76,584 – $118,635 yearly, inclusive of superannuation).

Qualifications and Experience
No prior experience or qualifications are required, though a current open or provisional driver's licence is mandatory. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including those with experience in trades, hospitality, education, finance, or the Defence Force.
