Robyn Taylor Child Development Centre is a purpose-built boutique centre in Burwood. With beautifully landscaped gardens, vegetable patch and large activity rooms, we cater to each child’s unique talents, development and learning capacities.
Designed by psychologist, Robyn Taylor, the curriculum seeks to develop children’s social, emotional and cognitive abilities through evidence-based strategies, which maximise each child’s potential.

The Roles
* Experienced Room Leader - Toddler Room
* Educator Cert III or Diploma - Toddler Room
We are after an experienced Room Leader for the Toddler room (2‑3 years), and we are also looking for a Certificate III (or working towards) or Diploma (or working towards) Educator for the Toddler room (2‑3 years). The toddler room has a capacity of 20 toddlers and 4 educators.
Duties
* Implement the daily curriculum and manage the running of the room routine with three other educators
* Implement the Educational program in accordance with the centre philosophy and approach.
* Implement tailored/individualised programmes for children, and work with child psychologist and/or other consultants where necessary.
* Work positively and constructively with all team members to achieve the service outcomes and to maintain a quality service.
* Communicate to families
* Maintain all centre and programme documentation
* Work with the centre director, management, and other educators
* For the Room Leader role:
o lead, mentor and guide a team of 3‑4 Educators.
o maintain a positive and constructive team environment.
o work positively and constructively with team members, the Director and management.
* Participate in the National Quality Standards Process
* Comply with the NSW Education and Care law and regulations
* Comply with all centre policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or working towards obtaining a Certificate III or Diploma. ECT’s may be considered if they are current entrants into the workforce.
* Previous experience working in childcare.
* For the Room Leader Role, you must be available to work full time, and you must be a permanent resident.
* For the Cert III or Diploma role, you must be available to work Tue, Wed, Thu. You do NOT need to be a permanent resident i.e. you may be on a VISA.
* Mandarin speaking will be preferred.
* Current First Aid certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to undertake)
* Current Working With Children Check
* Current Child Protection Training
* Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework including the National Quality Standards and Early Education and Care Services Regulations
