About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Lifestyle/Recreation Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of therapeutic recreation programs that support the physical, emotional, cognitive and social wellbeing of our residents. You will work closely with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create engaging, person-centred programs that promote independence, connection and quality of life.

What You'll Do

* Conduct assessments to understand residents' interests, needs and abilities
* Develop and deliver engaging, individualised recreation and lifestyle programs
* Monitor and evaluate resident progress and adjust programs accordingly
* Coordinate group activities and community engagement initiatives
* Work collaboratively with care teams, volunteers and external providers
* Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Foster a positive, inclusive and resident-focused environment

These programs will support residents' holistic wellbeing across physical, emotional, social and cognitive domains.

Required Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelor of Health Science (Leisure & Health / Therapeutic Recreation), or Diploma/Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (or related field), or equivalent experience
* Experience in aged care, lifestyle or therapeutic recreation (highly regarded)
* Strong communication, organisation and program development skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* National Police Check
* Pre-employment medical assessment
