About The Role
The Electrical Supervisor supports the Operations Manager and leads the electrical division across Karratha and wider Pilbara operations. The role focuses on team leadership, safe execution of electrical works, client management, and ensuring high‐quality delivery to support projects in the NPI space.
Compensation & Hours
Roster: Residential (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $200,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Electrical Team - supervise, mentor and develop electricians and apprentices, fostering a positive, high‐performance culture
* Client Management - maintain strong relationships and act as primary liaison for electrical scopes
* Scope & Quote - prepare SOWs, quotes and assist with project planning and scheduling
* Safety Leadership - champion OH&S, ensure compliance, and act as electrical nominee for inspections and sign‐off
* Project Coordination - allocate labour, oversee daily work execution, and participate in weekly planning meetings
* Continuous Improvement - identify efficiencies, support structured work management processes, and collaborate with other trade supervisors
Qualifications
* WA Electrical Licence (non‐restricted)
* Electrical Nominee Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* CPR/LVR (within 12 months) & First Aid (within 3 years)
* 3+ years supervisory or step‐up leadership experience
* Strong fault‐finding, testing and commissioning capability
* Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and mining electrical compliance
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to KPIs
* Valid C‐class licence and ability to pass D&A screening
* Rio Tinto/Sodexo experience highly regarded
* Excellent communication, negotiation and team‐building skills
* National Police Clearance (12 month validity)
