The Opportunity
Join Mainland Dairy's elite team of professional truck drivers, where safety, customer service, and quality are paramount. As our dairy farmers awaken, so do our dedicated drivers, ready to embark on the crucial task of transporting milk from farm to factory. With our state‐of‐the‐art tankers, we ensure the highest standard of milk is collected for processing, supported by innovative technology like the in‐cab Tanker Activity Management System, which monitors driver performance for optimal safety and sustainability.
Operating across Victoria, Southeast South Australia, and Tasmania, our Farm Milk Collection team guarantees the safe, timely, and accurate collection of raw milk. With a fleet of 45 trucks boasting an average age of just 2 years, we maintain NHVR mass management and Maintenance accreditations. Partnering with CMV, our fully equipped workshops ensure top‐notch maintenance and repairs, including our latest investment in a new milk metering and sampling system, showcasing our commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
* Conducting thorough pre‐ and post‐trip inspections of your truck, ensuring it's in optimal condition, and promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
* Adhering to all relevant transportation regulations and company policies, especially those concerning safety, cleanliness, and quality control.
* Operating your truck safely and efficiently to collect milk from farms and deliver it to designated receiving facilities.
* Maintaining accurate records of your trips, including detailed runsheets and heavy vehicle work diaries as needed.
* Identifying and promptly reporting any potential risks, incidents, or near misses encountered during your travels.
* Representing Mainland Dairy positively by providing exceptional customer service and acting as a brand ambassador in all your interactions.
About You
* Must have a valid HC license to drive trucks for us.
* Must be experienced in driving heavy vehicles.
* Show a serious commitment to safety, reporting any dangers or close calls.
* Act professionally and be friendly in all customer and supplier interactions.
* Work hard, be reliable and flexible, able to work different shifts as needed.
* Be eager to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
* Communicate well with teammates, supervisors, and farmers.
