Join our growing National Finance Team and work across a broad mix of responsibilities to grow your skills.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleThis is a hands-on role with exposure to multiple business entities within the Access Hardware Group.
You'll work on everything from accounting, reconciliation, accounts payable and credit functions to meet the company's financial expectations.You'll manage your time across in-office and remote work, ensuring deadlines are met while contributing to a positive and efficient finance operation.Access Hardware is Australia's leading supplier of commercial door hardware, locksmithing, and security solutions.
With a national presence and over 330 staff across the country, we support trade, commercial, and major project customers with a complete range of products and services.We've recently strengthened our offering with the acquisition of API Access & Security, expanding our team and capabilities to become the largest commercial locksmith and security network in Australia.As a family-owned and operated business, we value the contribution and well-being of all our staff.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure requested financial transactions are completed in line with best practice, accepted accounting standards, and company policiesWork to deadlines and assist the GFM in preparing accurate and informed financial statements and accountsComplete month-end tasks accurately and on timeMaintain supplier accounts, ensuring they remain up-to-date and that charges are accurate through regular reconciliation of supplier statementsInvestigate invoice discrepancies against Purchase Orders and raise credit requests with suppliersLiaise with the Sales Team and suppliers to resolve disputes efficientlyProvide a high standard of service to all internal and external stakeholdersSupport the AP function as requiredincluding accurate processing of invoices, supplier account management, and maintenance of creditor recordsAbout YouStrong attention to detail and able to manage competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive and solutions-focusedExperience with finance systems such as D365, Oracle, or similar ERP platformsAble to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environmentProfessional integrity and discretion when handling sensitive dataDesired Skills and ExperienceWhy Access Hardware?
