About the Role
7‐Eleven Australia is on a journey to transform convenience and deliver more value to our customers, suppliers, and partners. This short‐term 6‐month contract opportunity is responsible for translating retail media sales packages into store and digital‐ready strategies – managing the operational handoffs across marketing, loyalty, and digital teams to deliver seamless, data‐driven advertising campaigns for brands.
We're looking for an energetic, relationship‐builder with strong stakeholder management skills to work across the enterprise to enable retail media sales. In this role, you will work closely with the retail media sales team, category managers, marketing, and suppliers to develop and execute impactful retail media activations. We are exploring our go‐forward people model for 2027 and beyond and there is potential this could become a permanent position. We are looking for someone ready for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with the retail media sales team to convert broad packages and media assets into meaningful and well‐executed activations across stores and digital channels
* Act as the primary liaison between sellers and execution teams – coordinate the rollout of campaigns across marketing, loyalty, and digital
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to align campaign messaging and creative with the 7‐Eleven brand and customer promise
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, supporting them in delivering targeted campaigns that drive product visibility and sales
* Define clear operational workflows, SLAs, and approval processes to ensure media packages are executed efficiently without bottlenecks, supported by building out collateral and playbooks
* Use data and insights to evaluate media performance, continuously optimise to maximise return on investment and customer engagement
* Support digital enablement of retail media
What You Bring
* Extensive experience in category marketing, campaign management, digital, or related roles in a Retail or FMCG setting
* Strong understanding of the retail media end‐to‐end value chain – highly desired
* Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance commercial and customer outcomes with strong communication
* Strong project management skills to manage multiple go‐to‐market motions simultaneously, ensuring sales packages are seamlessly delivered on time
* Experience in process mapping and improving ways of working to increase efficiency for post‐sales campaign delivery
* Strong problem‐solving mindset with experience using media performance data to inform decisions
* High‐energy, hands‐on focus with immense attention to detail and drive
* A passion for customer experience and a drive to innovate within the retail space
