Remuneration
Package valued up to $182,461 plus incentives where applicable. Base salary ranges from $101,122 to $160,983, plus leave loading and superannuation contribution. One‐off recruitment payment up to $20,000 may be awarded, pro‐rated for part‐time.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide counselling and psychological services to students, individually and in groups, within the limits of training and supervision.
* Engage with the Professional Practice Framework and collaborate with the principal, staff and support services to improve learning and wellbeing.
* Contribute to the social, emotional and academic development of students and support those with complex behavioural needs.
* Administer cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments, report results, and collaborate to improve outcomes.
* Work with learning and support teams, parents, carers and external agencies to develop appropriate school‐based support.
* Respond as part of a team to assist schools during serious incidents.
* Refer students or families to external agencies to support health and wellbeing outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy, Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG Inc., and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy.
* General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Valid Working with Children Check clearance – NSW.
* Current and valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
