Our team thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-performing environment, and we're excited to welcome a motivated and reliable Yard Hand to our Kalgoorlie branch. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone eager to get hands-on experience and grow their career in a secure and supportive industry. This is a Full Time Permanent role, working Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm. This is not a FIFO role, only local residents will be considered. What you'll do
* Operate forklifts and assist with moving equipment around the yard
* Wash, clean, and maintain machinery and equipment
* Carry out general yard duties, manual handling, and loading/unloading tasks
* Drive and reposition equipment as needed
* Ensure the yard is safe, clean, and well organised
* Support the team with other duties as required
The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement-in addition to this they will have:
* Forklift licence and experience (preferred, but not essential)
* Previous machinery handling experience (an advantage)
* Willingness and ability to perform physical tasks and manual handling
* EWP ticket (desirable - we'll train the right person)
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
* A current driver's licence
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
* Ability to work a minimum of 47.5 hours per week
* Commitment to safety and teamwork
