Reitsma Constructions, an established commercial building company with offices in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial projects on the south coast. The candidate will report to the Construction Manager and the Directors.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 7–10 years of experience working on similar projects in a similar role.
Responsibilities
* Passion for the construction industry and building relationships.
* Ability to work within a team and mentor contract administrators.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Design management.
* Managing construction program.
* Overseeing and managing site staff.
* Managing project quality and safety.
* Procurement of sub‐contract agreements.
* Project budget and forecast reporting.
* Document control.
* Preparation and management of letting schedules.
* Managing relationships between all stakeholders (Superintendent, client, contractors and suppliers).
* Using the following software packages – Estimate One, Google Workspace, MS Project, MS Office.
Qualifications
* 7–10 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
* Experience in budget management & forecasting.
* Experience in project planning and scheduling.
* Experience as a project manager.
* Knowledge of construction induction safety certification (White Card).
* Right to work in Australia.
