This government is establishing a brand-new Microsoft tenancy and they are looking for a SharePoint Engineer to drive the design, configuration, and automation of a new document management ecosystem.
You will be at the heart of the Microsoft Program, designing and building a secure, scalable SharePoint environment that transforms how the organisation manages, protects, and shares information.
Key Activities
Build and configure the new SharePoint Online environment; tenancy, governance, and security from the ground up.
Design intuitive site collections, templates, and metadata frameworks to make information simple, structured, and accessible.
Implement retention, classification, and sensitivity policies using Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance with PROV standards.
Create seamless, automated workflows with Power Automate and Power Apps.
Protect valuable information with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and advanced security configurations.
Drive data migration strategies using tools like ShareGate and Migration Manager.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role within a large, complex environment.
Proven track record designing and delivering SharePoint Online solutions at scale.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview building compliance and governance frameworks.
Experience implementing Power Platform solutions to automate business processes.
Deep knowledge of DLP, security policies, and data migration best practices.
Familiarity with PROV standards and the ability to turn compliance rules into elegant technical solutions.
Strong communicator, collaborator, and documenter.
