Job Summary:
A Glass and Glazing Trade apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with formal learning through TAFE. As a glazier, you will work with skilled tradespeople to gain the skills and experience needed to install and repair glass in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gain skills in safe handling, moving, and cutting glass using manual and machine-based methods
* Assist in fabricating and assembling windows, doors, and screens for residential applications
* Install and re-glaze windows, doors, screens, shower screens, mirrors, and glass splashbacks
* Work on commercial projects involving structural and architectural glass installations
About This Role:
* Must have a genuine interest in the construction industry and enjoy hands-on work
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety are essential
* Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and possess strong communication skills
* Hold a current driver's licence and own vehicle for travel to Brisbane for TAFE block training
