Role Description
This is a part-time or casual on-site role for a Pelvic Physiotherapist based at our Murdoch, WA clinic and within our unique and innovative 'Pelvic Pain Clinic', supported by the Australian Federal Government.
The Pelvic Physiotherapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for pelvic health conditions, including pelvic floor dysfunction, continence issues, pre- and post-natal care, and pelvic pain. Day-to-day duties include conducting one-on-one consultations, developing individualised treatment plans, providing exercise prescriptions and education, and collaborating with GPs and other allied health professionals to support integrated care. The role also involves accurate clinical documentation, participation in case discussions, and contributing to patient education resources and group programs where appropriate. The ideal team member is comfortable working autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary setting and is committed to delivering respectful, inclusive, trauma-informed care to people of all genders and backgrounds.
Full admin support, IT software, nursing and modern equipment including ultrasound facilities supplied.
Qualifications
* Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist and relevant professional indemnity insurance.
* Postgraduate training or significant experience in pelvic health physiotherapy, including pelvic floor assessment and management.
* Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal assessment, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and provide sensitive, gender-inclusive care.
* Ability to maintain accurate clinical records, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Comfort using practice management software and digital tools for documentation, referrals, and communication.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice in pelvic and women's, men's, and gender-diverse pelvic health.
