St Augustine's College Kyabram is seeking a Human Resources (HR) OHS & Compliance Officer to join our friendly school environment. This is an exciting ongoing full‐time opportunity to be part of Catholic Education in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Role Overview

The Human Resources (HR) OHS & Compliance Officer provides timely, accurate advice, information and support to management and staff on a range of Human Resources (HR) Management related policies, procedures, systems and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities
* Human Resources: Managing employment contracts, leave obligations, and staff enquiries.
* OHS: Leading emergency management, workplace risk assessments, safety inductions, hazard reporting, and WorkSafe compliance.
* Compliance: Updating policies, allocation and monitoring of mandatory training and maintaining record‐keeping standards.
Position Details
* Title: Human Resources (HR) OHS & Compliance Officer
* Classification: (CEMEA 2022) ESO Cat C 4.1‐4.6
* FTE / Hours per fortnight: 76 hours per fortnight
* Employment Status: Ongoing
* Location: Kyabram
* Other Requirements: WWCC, National Police Check
* Potential start date: ASAP or by negotiation
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree/Diploma or Certificate IV in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or equivalent
* Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position, knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, training & development etc.)
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current National Criminal History Check
* Current or willing to obtain First Aid Certificate
* Knowledge and understanding of business process and administration
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Commitment to comply with the school's child‐safe policy and code of conduct, and other policies or procedures relating to child safety.
* Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.
