About The Role
As a Platform Engineer, you'll design and deliver cloud-based platforms that are scalable, secure, and future-ready. You'll apply automation, AI, and DevOps practices to improve performance and reliability, while collaborating across teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Engineer platform solutions aligned to long-term strategic architecture
Lead automation and optimisation initiatives to improve cost, performance, and availability
Deliver large-scale platform implementations from inception to production
Collaborate with Tech Leads, Platform Leads, and Delivery Managers using Agile and Lean methods
Share knowledge and pair with engineers to build team capability
Maintain quality documentation and procedures for ongoing platform support
What You'll Bring
5+ years experience in enterprise cloud engineering (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell; experience with Infrastructure as Code
Deep understanding of Agile, Lean, DevOps, and cloud governance
Experience with AWS/Azure; certifications highly desirable
Knowledge of ITIL, service design, and platform lifecycle management
Exposure to DataBricks and machine learning lifecycle tools (desirable)
