Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Kentish Town NW5
Hours: Full Time (30 hours per week)
Pay: £14.95 per hour
The Role
The Site Team Leader supports Site Management in achieving highest performance within the site. Responsibilities include maximizing customer satisfaction, optimizing productivity, maintaining stock accuracy, controlling inventory and minimizing wastage, creating a safe and compliant working environment, and delivering operational excellence during shifts.
What You'll be Doing
* Lead your team and work closely with site management to achieve company objectives and goals, prioritizing tasks during shifts.
* Supervise efficient and accurate order picking, ensuring SLAs and quality standards are met.
* Enforce compliance with SOPs through supervision and coaching.
* Communicate professionally with Deliveroo riders.
* Operate and oversee dispatch, accurate handling of orders to riders, and minimize mistakes.
* Ensure deliveries adhere to company policies, temperature regulations, and stock replenishment procedures; maintain inventory accuracy and perform stock rotation.
* Complete daily claims where appropriate.
* Complete stock counts as per company policy.
* Collaborate with Site Management and other stakeholders, communicating professionally and openly.
* Enforce merchandising and space‐management principles to keep the site clean, tidy, and organized.
* Uphold Deliveroo's reputation with external parties such as neighbours, landlords, contractors.
* Perform H&S checks and ensure staff adhere to policies throughout shifts.
* Supervise accurate timekeeping, ensuring team members record shifts correctly, take breaks per policy, and comply with working time directives.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar environment preferred (FMCG, Retail, Warehouse, Last Mile).
* Strong hands‐on mentality and attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment.
* Track record of consistently hitting KPI targets (e.g., pick times).
* Reliable attendance, punctuality, and reliability record.
* Demonstrated leadership and training experience with associates.
* Ability to run shifts independently.
* Contribution to a positive working environment.
* Good written and spoken English communication skills.
* Right to work in the UK.
